What We Treat

At Pasadena Villa Outpatient – Cleveland, we specialize in treating complex mental health conditions and co-occurring disorders. The multimodality approach involving group, individual, and family therapy along with psychiatric services allows our clinical team to effectively understand and address challenging behavioral issues. Often, it’s the combination of multiple mental health conditions that hinders progress with traditional services. At our facility we treat:

  • Anxiety Disorders
  • Bipolar Disorder
  • Major Depressive Disorders
  • Personality Disorders
  • Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)

Levels of Care

At Pasadena Villa Outpatient – Cleveland, we offer two levels of care for mental health treatment: an adult partial hospitalization program (PHP) and an adult intensive outpatient program (IOP).

Our PHP includes intensive psychotherapeutic treatment and support in a less restrictive setting than inpatient care. Clients can participate in a structured therapeutic program during the day while living at home and enjoying their community in the evenings. The goal is to establish a foundation for long-term recovery support. Our PHP is appropriate for those who may have one or more of the following symptoms: withdrawal from normal activities; behavioral problems; depression; anxiety; suffering from pervasive, psychiatric disorders; at risk of being a danger to themselves; or at risk of being violent toward others

Providing a higher level of support, our IOP is designed to help individuals who are experiencing an increase in distressing symptoms and behaviors or who aren’t progressing in traditional outpatient services. The extra treatment and support foster meaningful improvement and create a solid foundation for clients before they transition to community treatment.

Our Program

At Pasadena Villa Outpatient – Cleveland, we provide customized care that’s designed to meet each client’s specific needs and unique goals. We understand that people are not their diagnosis; they’re a combination of all that’s happened in their lives and their future journeys. Because of this, our clinical team of board-certified psychiatrists, licensed clinical social workers, registered art therapists, and licensed professional counselors partner with each client and their family to design a treatment plan that provides a successful pathway to recovery.

Our clinical team creates intensive treatment plans that allow each client to explore new ways to enjoy life. In a supportive and healing environment, we take a whole-person approach to treatment using evidence-based therapies that facilitate progress from clinical care toward independent self-care. Our program provides tailored groups that meet each week to teach our clients practical ways to handle life’s challenges, ensuring they address each client’s needs. Group-based therapy, individual psychotherapy, and family sessions ensure optimal progress in treatment and help improve each client’s quality of life.

The treatment process begins with the primary therapist conducting a comprehensive assessment that, upon permission from each client, includes consultation with the client’s prescriber, psychotherapist, significant others, and other service providers. Our experienced psychiatrists oversee all treatment, conduct psychiatric evaluations, and provide careful medication management as needed. Our psychiatrists also communicate with the community prescriber, ensuring medication changes fit within their treatment plan. Additionally, we value and foster collaboration with other community providers as we serve as an extension of each client’s treatment team. The two-way communication ensures clients receive seamless continuity of care as they transition into and out of our program.

Pasadena Villa Outpatient – Cleveland accepts out-of-network benefits from major insurance companies. For clients who prefer to pay for treatment directly, we offer a private-pay rate.
